Originating in a remote mountain monestary high in the French Alps, this recipe is complex and varied, including over 130 different types of mountain flowers , herbs, roots and other botanicals. To maintain the historic secrecy, no single person has the entire recipe, but instead is divided among three monks for safe keeping. This liquor is honeyed and floral with hints of lemon and intense spices. Enjoy over ice or use in a cocktail.
