Glenfiddich 19yr: Exclusively matured for nineteen years in American oak casks previously used to mellow fine bourbon whiskey. Unlike other whiskies this is not finished. It is 100% bourbon matured making this more original and unique. The taste is overall complex and layered, developing overtime, especially with the addition of a little water. You can nose warm, crunchy toffee and deep citrus notes, marmalade on toast and a whiff of a fine old orange liqueur, are balanced by dry almost smoky notes of oak tannin.
