The 10 Year Old Laphroaig® is distilled following traditions laid down by Ian Hunter over 75 years ago. In making Laphroaig®, malted barley is dried over a peat fire. The smoke from this peat, found only on Islay, gives Laphroaig® its particularly rich flavour. Cask strength whiskies are a true expression of whisky in the barrel, with no water added before bottling. The 10 Year Old Laphroaig® Cask Strength expression builds on the classic Laphroaig® smoke and peat flavors with a build of sweetness on the finish.
