Prince Michel’s latest work is bottled by Prince Michel Vineyard and Winery in Leon, Virginia, about 30 miles north of Charlottesville. Prince Michel Dry Rosé is crafted from 100% Merlot, making this crisp and dry wine typical of the rose found in the South and France. The early pressing and long, cool fermentation help retain this wine’s refreshing fruity qualities. The obvious strawberry characteristics of this Merlot grape truly shine through in this light bodied rosé. It’s best served chilled.
