Tempus Fugit Spirits Crème de Cacao is based on a 19th century recipe. The raw cacao used is distilled and then macerated with additional cacao and crushed whole vanilla bean. On the nose, Tempus Fugit is sweet with cacao, vanilla and powdered cocoa. On the palate this cordial is buttery before leading to sweet chocolate flavors. Add a splash of soda water for a digestif or use in cocktails that call for crème de cacao.
